NordicBet today informed clients by email that the acquisition will have no effect on the day-to-day operation of the company.

The acquisition follows another big takeover from Betsson, as the company last year bought Malta-based Betsafe as part of its aggressive expansion strategy on the Nordic markets.

The Sportingbet group has mentioned that its financial performance during the previous 12 months has decreased because of the ongoing problems of Euro Zone. Therefore, the group has decided for the disposal of their Turkish website, as this has accounted for huge proportion of their gambling revenue.
